The Black White State is a minimal industrial duo based in Los Angeles. Using analog, and often self-designed sound devices, The Black White State explores rich soundscapes and rhythmic elements to form haunting sound aesthetics. Inspired by folkloric music and vintage electronic compositions of the 1960’s and 70’s, the band traces themes of the supernatural and its influence on human experience.
